The Lancaster County Association of REALTORS® (LCAR) and the Greater Harrisburg Association of REALTORS® (GHAR) have begun discussions to explore the potential benefits of a merger between the two organizations. These conversations are focused on identifying opportunities to strengthen member services, expand resources, increase operational efficiencies, and enhance the collective voice of REALTORS® throughout the region. Discussions are preliminary, and both associations are committed to carefully evaluating the potential advantages and considerations while keeping the best interests of their members at the forefront. We are writing to share an important update about the future of our association. The Lancaster County Association of REALTORS® (LCAR) and the Greater Harrisburg Association of REALTORS® (GHAR), with the support of both Boards of Directors, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and are in active discussions regarding a potential merger.
